North Bay City Council has initiated a temporary pause on the issuance of licenses under the Residential Rental Housing By-law

North Bay City Council has initiated a temporary pause on the issuance of licenses under the Residential Rental Housing By-law pending a review of the program.

Properties that are currently licensed will continue to hold their licenses without interruption while the review is underway. However, no new licenses will be issued during this period.

During the temporary pause of the Residential Rental Licensing Program, property owners are expected to remain in compliance with all other City By-laws. This includes adherence to regulations regarding parking, property maintenance, cleanliness, and noise control.

As part of the review of the Residential Rental Housing Licensing Program the City will be meeting with stakeholders to get feedback on the existing program and review potential changes.
